A little history and

How we started

Bali Farm Sanctuary was founded in 2024, after three friends combined a lifelong dream to create an organisation which can truly impact animals.

Founders Aron, Pia and Lola were passionate advocates for animals, living in Bali Indonesia.

Together, they came up with a concept aimed at helping farm animals in desperate need, whilst also educating visitors and communities about the value of animal life.

"We wanted to create a place that not only gives animals a great life, but one that helps people rethink how they can be kinder to animals"

"Violet was terribly skinny and we did not know if she would survive. She made it though, and she inspired us to work on wider goals to help animals like her."

Rescuing

Violet the Pig

In June 2023, Pia and Aron worked together to rescue Violet, a malnourished pig who was critically ill.

Safe and rescued, Violet grew up along with rescued dogs at Aron’s temporary rescue garden. Violet worked her way to full health, gaining many fans online along the way.

Meanwhile, Aron, Pia and Lola worked on their vision to create a new organisation that would help many more animals like Violet.

Creating the

Bali Farm Sanctuary

Founders Aron, Pia and Lola got together to begin work on turning this dream into a reality.

In September 2024, Bali Farm Sanctuary UK became a registered UK Charity (1210041). Working on the full organisation strategy, budget, fundraising plans and more, the founders got to work.

At the time of writing, the Bali Farm Sanctuary is undergoing final legal framework development and mapping before our launch and public fundraising efforts begin. We cannot wait to share more.

"We knew this would be a great opportunity to influence people in a positive way, whilst giving animals the life they deserve."
