Seed Funding Stage Complete
The Bali Farm Sanctuary Development Team is excited to announce that our Seed Funding goal has been reached. We have raised 25,000 GBP to help us implement the very first steps of creating the Bali Farm Sanctuary.
Our goals with seed funding were to give us the funds required to undertake initial basic work at the project site – including renting land, fencing, water supply, a welcome area and staff for the new site.
You can keep up to date with our next developments here.
Seed Funding
As you may know, Bali is a beautiful tourist island in Indonesia, but is sadly riddled with issues from stray dogs, plastic pollution and poverty. But one issue has gone completely ignored – farm animals.
Whilst there are many efforts to help stray dogs and cats, clean up the beaches and support families in poverty, help for farm animals is non-existent.
In South East Asia there are very few sanctuaries specifically for farm animals.
Our goal is to create a safe space for farm animals, whilst giving visitors the opportunity to connect and learn about their personalities. This means creating a farm sanctuary that is safe for animals, whilst being open for visitors.

What Next?
The Seed Funding stage was our drive to raise the initial funds to implement the basic requirements to begin work on the Bali Farm Sanctuary. Now that this has been raised, the team move onto our next stage of the plan – legal status.
Once legal status has been completed, work will begin and we will move onto our wider public fundraising goals to raise enough funds to truly establish the sanctuary.
