Theo’s Rescue

Meet Theo

Theo was rescued after being dumped at a beach in Bali.

Just one week old, Theo was left confused and unable to fend for himself. Thankfully, a kind person saw Theo and jumped to the rescue.

After spending the night at his rescuer’s house, Theo was fostered by our friends at the Sirius Sanctuary until we had set up a good space for Theo to stay.

Theo then moved to BFS Co-Founder Aron’s ‘rescue garden’ where he met Violet, our very first ever rescued pig.

Together with Violet, Theo is one of the first residents of the Bali Farm Sanctuary.

A different sub-species of pig, Theo is a ‘Karengasem Pot Belly’, which is quite similar to the more well known Vietnemese Pot Belly.

Theo’s favourite food is a nice juicy mango. He loves to snuffle about in the ground, but most of all lives for chin, neck, belly and top-of-the-bum scratches.
